Anyone with knee/femur limb salvage/TKR

Have you had problems with your ankle at all?

This is new, I had my 8th surgery on my knee to realign the tibia, and that was in Oct 07. Ever since then my ankle has been bothering me too. I wonder if its the realignment, I dont know. It gets really bad for a few days, then gets better, then comes back. Today is a day I woke up and scream if I try to put weight on it.
I'm just curious if anyone else has dealt with this??

My ankle swells when I am on my feet alot. Not alot of pain but my legs get restless and the only thing that helps is going to bed. I kick my foot off to the side when I walk. I don't know why. My therapist always got on to me about keeping it straight. I tried  but my leg falls to the left side anyway.

I have sprained the ankle of my leg that I have the TKR a few times. I walk with my left foot turned out so I think when I step a certain way it does damage.
