On March 29th there will be a 5k run/walk in Golden Gate Park. All proceeds go to Stanford research center for sarcomas. The young lady who runs the event is a sarcoma survivor herself. Last year was the first time. I was not able to participate because I was still recovering from surgery. However, my "TEAM CINDI" (friends and family) walked/ran proud. They had a great time. The picture below is my team. My husband had yellow t-shirts made with "CIN WILL CONQUER" on them. I plan on leading the team this year

. It is only a $20 registration fee (includes free t-shirt if you finish the race) and you can spend the rest of the day enjoying Golden Gate Park. So if you are local come join us...if not....pass the word on to those that are. This is just another way to get the word "sarcoma" out there. Wouldn't it be amazing if the sarcoma walks could some day be as populated as the breast cancer walks
