There are many cool features in the forum. Our help section explains them all in detail. If you'd like the highlights, here they are:

You can change your profile by clicking on the profile button at the top of any page and then using the menu on the left side of the page.

You can attach a picture or a file to any post! Just click on “additional options” at the bottom of the page where you’re typing, and attach a file.

You also have a spiffy inbox where you can send and receive instant personal messages. Please use this inbox for personal correspondence with forum members.

Everytime you log on, your personal information is at the top of your screen. It tells you if you have any new messages. You can also click there to read all of the new posts since your last visit. This is a great feature!

If you click on the calendar button and then click on a day on the calendar, you can add an event to our calendar. If the event is a long way away, don't include a post with it! The post will show up NOW. So just uncheck the box to include a post with the event. If the event is right around the corner, you can include a post telling us all about it. Just pick the board you'd like to post it in.

Want to receive e-mail notifications? You can receive e-mails when a new post is added to a board, or when a new reply is added to a certain topic. Just go to the board or topic that interests you, and look for the "notify" button on the right hand side. In the end, this forum is different than an e-mail list. There is no way to set it up so that you receive e-mails of everything that everyone writes. So, in order to keep up with the group, the best thing to do is visit the forum site every few days, and click on the little link at the top of the page in your user info that says Show Unread Posts since your last visit. You will see a list there of everything that you haven't read yet. Want to get to the latest message quickly? There is a little button on the right of each topic in that list that will take you to the most recent message in the topic.
